Community Guidelines and Housekeeping
Respect the people and the space.
Our friends at Rigby Mansion have generously donated their home to our Sweet Juice family today. Please treat the grounds as if they were your home as well - they are!
And please remember, for centuries the land now known as Philadelphia was home to and cared for by native peoples. These include the Lenni-Lenape People of Lenapehoking and the Poutaxat (Delaware Bay). We recognize these Tribes' strength and history of resistance to colonization.
Let us honor their history, presence, and future by extending kindness, peace, and generosity to every person, plant, and soul we interact with today.
Stay Hydrated.
Don’t forget to bring your own water bottle or cup. Drinking water will be provided, as well as free Guayaki yerba mate teas (while supplies last).
You are welcome to BYOB. That being said…Please be considerate and clean up your trash. We ask that you bring your trash home with you if possible.
We love animals.
But your pets are not permitted to join us today.
Pack like you’re doing to the beach.
Chairs, blankets, and sunscreen encouraged!
Children of all ages are welcome.
Especially for this reason, please refrain from smoking in the main area. A designated smoking zone will be announced at the festival.
Bathrooms.
There are two bathrooms available on the premises for public use - an outhouse and a wheelchair accessible porta-jawn. Please leave it clean for the next guest. Let an organizer or volunteer know if the bathrooms need any attention.
Parking.
There is free parking in the residential area. No guests are permitted to park in the driveway of Rigby Mansion. Please be respectful and kind to the neighbors.
